I would like to share with you my recent 1st time home buying experience and use this opportunity to recommend Hema Lakhani in case you are interested in finding an excellent real estate agent! Did I mention that the home is in Los Altos? This is one of the hottest and toughest markets for first time home buyers due to its excellent schools, lovely houses and condos, charming downtown just to list a few. Hema has been recommended to us by my boss. At first, my husband and I were skeptical as we haven't done our homework in terms of looking at local agents ranking charts for example. Immediately after our first meeting with Hema, we realized that she has a lovely personality, ability to listen and understand our top needs for home selection, excellent communication skills, and, most importantly, infinite patience. My husband and I had fallen in love with a property listed on Zillow when we contacted Hema. The property was in Monterey County - quite a distance from where Hema lives. That was of no consequence. She would adjust to our convenience and take us to see the home innumerable times so we could satisfy ourselves that we loved it just the same as we did the pictures on Zillow. We made an offer and got outbid, but she was persistent and ensured that we were the contingent offer. As luck would have it the original offer fell through and Hema lost no time in rounding us up and closing on the deal. She worked tirelessly to take schedule the walk through and left no stone/rug unturned during the last round of check-up.

Hema was my agent helping me and my family buy our future home in Los Altos which is very big purchase of more than $2 million in a very hot area with super low inventory. Hema is exceptionally responsive, patient, knowledgeable and communicative. I am not a first-time home buyer and had done a lot research in the area and market. But still, I can get a lot of useful suggestion, knowledge and insights from Hema. She is very knowledgeable about the market and the neighborhood of Los Altos and surrounding cities like Mountain View, Palo Alto, Cupertino, Sunnyvale and West San Jose which were our target areas.
